Vorschlag 8 – Hörbert
Gestern, als ich im Wald unterwegs war und das Herbstwetter roch, sah ich im Gras etwas, das mich auf den ersten Blick an einen kleinen Waldbewohner erinnerte.
Dann trat ich näher und sah Hörbert. Dieses kleine Geschöpf sieht aus wie ein Baumstumpf und mit den Blättern ist er sehr gut getarnt.
Wie Miselind ist er ein Geschöpf des Waldes. Er bewegt sich flink wie ein Wiesel und erstarrt augenblicklich, wenn er eines Menschen ansichtig wird.
Er ist scheu, aber verfügt über das Wissen von Generationen. Viele kommen zu ihm und fragen um Rat.
Und er hütet den Wald in dem er lebt. Wenn er sieht, wie sich Gäste schlecht benehmen, dann trifft ihn dies … nunja, manche Gäste kamen nachher nie mehr zurück … waren sie doch der Meinung, es spuke in diesem Wald …
Erzähl mir von ihm, welche Geschichte verbirgt sich deiner Meinung nach hinter Hörbert?

In Dutch we have the saying: ‚High trees catch a lot of wind‘. Your ‚Tree in the forest‘ is clever thatn that, he stays close to its roots and ground and never will fall down or fade away. In a sence this ‚groundtree‘ is a metaphor for a way of living wich would benefit us all and makes us think about choices. A comforting tree, not to be shortcut or behumaniazed in another sence.

Maybe Hörbert can whisper something exciting in your ear.
But you’re right – sometimes it’s better to get closer to the roots than to grow too far out.
